Reema Khan – Senior Landscape Architect
Reema holds an MA in Landscape Architecture from Manchester School of Architecture with specialism in wetland improvement, flood and ecological resilience. Her dissertation, “The Lake, Landscape and People,” won the prestigious Landscape Institute Award in 2021. This, combined with her BA in Architecture from Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi, India, enables her to take a balanced multidisciplinary approach to treating sites sensitively and sustainably.
Reema developed a professional career working on high-profile projects in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining our team, Reema worked at a range of companies across the UK, including Exterior Architecture, Gillespies, INTACH, SKA Landscape Architects, Pick Everard and Camlins, together with time spent at SK-A Landscape Architects in New Delhi, India. She has delivered a range of projects, including master-planning, public realm, residential and institutional developments. Her notable projects include Stockport Interchange – Viaduct Park, Stretford Infrastructure in Manchester, urban regeneration of a proposed smart city in India, and landscape design for UK prisons under the Ministry of Justice.
Reema has a passion for landscapes that foster biodiversity, climate resilience and meaningful community engagement. She is currently on the Pathway to Chartership with the Landscape Institute. Reema plans to utilise her previous educational and professional experience, together with her passion and future learnings into the team and projects at TPHC.
“I believe designing with sensitivity to ecology and community is not just about aesthetics, but about resilience, belonging and long-term stewardship. By joining The Paul Hogarth Company I am excited by the opportunity to shape resilient, people-focused environments that truly make a difference.”

Marie Pourghasem – Landscape Architect
Marie Pourghasem studied Landscape Architecture in Prague, Vienna and Tartu, gaining both an undergraduate and postgraduate degree. Following this, she developed her career across a range of practices in Rotterdam and Prague, including Architecture studio PROJEKTOR, Rethink Architecture and U/U Studio. Together with international experience, Marie brings knowledge from a diverse range of projects, from private gardens and commercial campuses to public realm and outdoor recreation, with a specific interest in designing for outdoor relaxation and recreation.
Marie’s design interests lie in creating both environmentally and socially sustainable spaces through nature-based solutions and blue-green infrastructure, together with the implementation of human-centred design and gender mainstreaming in urbanism. During her unfinished PhD studies, she focused on Urban Resilience and Nature – and Fungi-Based Solutions, specifically mycelium as a biomaterial to create objects for public space. Alongside her design work she is an advocate for landscape architecture and sustainability in the environment amongst both public and private sector professionals through her writing and lecturing.
‘I am excited about this new Dublin chapter in my life and career and am already enjoying the variety of projects I get to work on with TPHC. From a big flood relief scheme, both urban and natural parks, to a luxury recreation and glamping site, the opportunities and experiences are diverse. I hope to offer new ideas to the team and am looking forward to learning new skills along the way.’
